The Chevrolet Colorado is a compact pickup truck, powered by V-8 engine. It is offered in three trim models-crew cabs, regular cab and extended cab models. The new to the Chevy Colorado model is its powerful engine. It is equipped with a 5.3 liter V-8 engine that can produce power up to 300 hp and torque of 320 lb ft. It has the maximum towing capacity of 6000 pounds. With the powerful engine featured, the current generation Chevy Colorado can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a time span of just 7 seconds. To match the engine performance, it is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The other two engines offered by the Colorado include 2.9 liter four-cylinder engine that produces power up to 185 hp and 3.7 liter I-5 engine that produces 242 hp.
