2009 Chevrolet Colorado
The new 2009 Chevrolet Colorado aims to please those looking for the perks of having a truck, but do not want something that guzzles gas or is a pain to drive and park because of its size. A 5.3 liter V8 is available with the extended or crew cab models, with 300 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The truck with this engine is capable of doing 0 to 60 in less than 7 seconds, with the capacity to pull 6000 lb of towing.
The Colorado is available with an optional ZQ8 sports package, which includes 18 inch wheels, exterior enhancements and the aforementioned V8 in its powertrain. A standard 2.9 liter engine makes 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway and an optional 3.7 liter five cylinder making 17 mpg in the city and 23 on the highway.
StabiliTrack is now available as a standard feature for the new Colorado, with a new stock wheel size of 16 inches. With a new brake system and new binders improve feel greatly at the pedals.
For added style a bedliner comes as standard with 2 new shades of blue paint to choose from.
